NewsY is a simple, lightweight RSS feed aggregator designed to provide users with a hassle-free way to access and read content from various RSS feeds. The App allows users to add RSS feed URLs to their reading list, offers offline access by caching content, enables users to archive content for later reading, and provides suggested feeds through Firebase Remote Config. The App is developed using Flutter, ensuring a cross-platform experience for both Android and iOS devices.

2. Information Collection and Use

NewsY does not require users to create an account, and we do not collect personal information directly from users. However, the App uses Firebase Analytics for analytics purposes, which may collect data as permitted by Google's policies. Additionally, Firebase Remote Config is used to manage suggested feeds.

3. Data Usage

The collected data is used solely for analytics purposes to improve the App's functionality and user experience. Since the App does not collect personal information, user activities cannot be personally identified.

4. Data Sharing

The only third-party service the App shares data with is Google, through the use of Firebase Analytics. No personal data is shared since the App does not collect such information from its users.

5. User Rights

Users have full control over their data within the App, as all activities and data remain on the device. There is no mechanism for the App or its developers to access or manage user data remotely.

6. Data Storage and Security

All user data and activities are stored locally on the user's device. The App does not transmit or store data on remote servers, ensuring that users' privacy is maintained.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age.

8. International Data Transfer

There is no international transfer of data, as the backend infrastructure is hosted within the EU, and Firebase is configured to store analytics data in the EU as well.
